Bison Process: Scope
Bison Process is a Java-based, platform-independent ERP suite from Switzerland focused on trade, agriculture and energy. Unlike broadly positioned standard suites it ships in pre-configured industry editions, for example for crop production, wine, recycling and beverage trade, and covers the industry-specific processes there as well.
Bison Process is developed by Bison Schweiz AG in Sursee, a company of the fenaco cooperative. The suite is written in Java and therefore platform-independent; it runs both in the vendor’s data centre and on customer premises.
Its hallmark are the pre-configured industry editions. Bison Process covers trade and wholesale, agricultural processes such as crop production and wine, recycling as well as energy and fuel trading. For companies in these sectors the system replaces the add-on solutions usually needed alongside an ERP.
